The wellbeing services county of Central Ostrobothnia
The Central Ostrobothnia welfare area Soite is Finland’s smallest welfare area in terms of population. Soite is also a bilingual welfare area, where SFP works hard to ensure the linguistic rights of its residents. SFP wants services to be easily accessible, which means investments in mobile, digital, and other innovative new solutions in healthcare. Maintaining the central hospital at its current service level is a key issue for SFP. We prioritize staff well-being and have actively taken a stand on recruitment issues. According to SFP, cooperation between the welfare area, municipalities, and the third sector needs to be developed and strengthened.
The welfare area includes the municipalities of Halsua, Kannus, Kokkola, Kaustinen, Lestijärvi, Perho, Toholampi, and Veteli.
