Espoo

"Your voice for a human and successful Espoo. Experience, communication, openness and expertise are the basis of good decisions. Challenges do not look at boundaries - they can be solved by cooperation. The key to genuine and successful communication with all inhabitants of Espoo is listening and presence."

I was born and raised in Ostrobothnia. After my studies, I settled with my family in Espoo, where I have lived for almost 50 years. Espoo has changed dramatically during this time.

I have a burning interest towards working at the grassroots level with resident democracy and community development in order to make the residents' voices heard in local politics.

I have been working in Espoo municipality politics since 2004 eg. as a member of the City Council, the City Planning Committee, the Environmental Committee and the current Environmental and Building Committee. I also have experience as a deputy member of the Swedish-speaking unit of the education sector, and for a couple of years as Espoo's representative in the South Coast Regional Council.

I strive for a community development that is fair, liberal and democratic. With freedom also comes responsibility. I believe that the Nordic welfare societies include the right of people to create their future safely, healthy and successfully. I never accept intolerance, bullying or racism. By education, I have a Master of Science Degree in Agriculture and Forestry.

Put you vote on a humane, reliable, equal and rightful candidate on sustainable development in order to make your voice heard and outspoken on issues concerning sustainable economic and social development in Espoo!

I am also running in the county elections

If you could give a superpower to your future political leader, what would it be?

The ability to instantly purify the environment and stop climate change.
Invisibility to reveal and combat corruption at all levels.
Time travel to correct historical mistakes and improve the future.
Infinite wisdom to make perfect decisions on all political matters.

Some of the key requirements for good governance are responsibility, trust, transparency and public accountability.
