"Everyone has the right to care and support in their own language! Strong disability services, better mental health, and safe eldercare close to you. "
I am 21 years old and study political science at the Swedish School of Social Science at the University of Helsinki. Alongside my studies, I work as a substitute caregiver and a daycare assistant. In my free time, I play the violin and the accordion. I also have a four-year-old playful and talkative cat.
I am also running in the municipal elections

Functioning social welfare
Everyone has the right to care in their own language, but today it is still difficult to receive service in Swedish in many places. Long wait times and cuts to services, mean that many do not receive the care they need. Better access to care and reliable service close to residents – in their own language – must be prioritized.
Disability Services
To ensure that disability services work effectively, the challenges of staff shortages and language barriers must be addressed. This causes long wait times, a lack of continuity in care, and a shortage of services in Swedish. I also want to see that the new disability services law starts functioning properly, so that everyone receives the support they are entitled to and need.
Mental Health
More young people are struggling than ever before. It is important that we continue to work on improving young people's mental health, as well as for individuals of all ages. Access to more effective support services must be ensured, and mental health must be taken seriously.
