Southwest Finland

"For a sustainable society"

I am running in the welfare district election because I want to influence how healthcare, social care and rescue services are managed in our region.

My most important themes in the election are accessibility in healthcare and a good elderly care.

For the past four years, I have worked for the Swedish People's Party. For three years, I had the pleasure of serving as the executive manager of SFP in Southwest Finland, and currently I serve as the coordinator of SFP's welfare district council groups in Uusimaa.

Since I worked as the executive manager of SFP in Southwest Finland when the welfare districts were founded, I had the opportunity to closely follow the transition when operations were moved from the municipalities to the welfare district. I therefore have a good insight into how decision-making is done, and in what ways you can influence.

With 15 years of experience working in healthcare, I have a good idea of how the work of healthcare staff has developed over the past few decades, and Varha need to invest more in developing the staff's working conditions.

My commitment is strong and long-term. I hope to be worthy of your vote on election day!

Important political topics

Accessible health care

I want to work to ensure that you easily can get in touch with healthcare when you need it. There should be several different ways to get in touch, digital channels and telephone service. In addition, every municipality within the area should have some form of health care unit where you can get basic healthcare.

Safe elderly care

Varha should offer good and safe elderly care, and this is a service that should be available in the municipalities. There should be different forms of service, and the needs and wishes of the individual should be taken into account. Varha as an employer should become better at taking care of its staff, because staff are the most important resource in elderly care.
