"Fresh energy: Chi - for Your family"
The wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families, high-quality and safe elderly care, as well as easily and quickly accessible social and healthcare services, are topics that are important to me. Social services for immigrants are also close to my heart. I focus on concrete and sustainable solutions.
I moved to Sipoo a little over six years ago. With fresh eyes, I have seen what works well in Sipoo and the county of East Uusimaa, as well as where we can improve. We live in Gesterby, Sipoo. Our family consists of me, my spouse, two small children, and our charming dog Biggles, who is an Australian Shepherd. I am 35 years old and come from Riihimäki. I speak fluent Swedish, Finnish, English, and Vietnamese.
I work as a specialist in financial planning and financial monitoring. I have 13 years of experience in public administration. Balancing the economy, as well as proactive and long-term financial planning, has become familiar to me through my work.
I am also candidate in municipal elections in Sipoo!

Thriving children, adolescents and families
It is especially important to me that we invest in the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. In Eastern Uusimaa, and particularly in Sipoo, there are high-quality and comprehensive family, maternity, and child counseling services. Well-developed and systematic services reduce concerns during changes in family situations and make it easier for parents to focus on everyday life. As a mother who uses these services, I have seen how important it is for them to be easily and quickly accessible. This must remain so also in the future.
When it comes to adolescents' well-being, I emphasize the importance of preventive social and healthcare services. In addition to school psychologists and counselors, adolescents should have the opportunity to speak confidentially with an adult outside of school, for example, at family counseling centers or youth centers. It is particularly important to allocate sufficient resources to prevent and treat mental health issues among young people. Investing in preventive measures reduces the risk of longer-lasting conditions.
We should invest more in integration services for immigrant families, develop guidance and improve employment. We ensure that the Swedish language is also actively offered as an integration language.
The wellbeing of different generations is interconnected. For me, it is important that family wellbeing is seen as a whole, where everyone thrives.
Safe elderly care
We ensure that everyone can age with dignity. Care and services for senior citizens are provided with high quality, there are enough care and bed places, and we support various forms of housing. Everyone should have the opportunity to be and live close to their loved ones and friends. With high-quality home care and preventive healthcare services, we ensure that our seniors can enjoy better and longer lives in their own homes. It should also be quicker and easier to become an informal caregiver. When the need or urgency is greatest, bureaucracy must not become an insurmountable obstacle. Municipalities and the welfare county must collaborate even more to ensure smoother care.
In the current Kela taxi system, seniors do not have the right to use a familiar taxi, meaning they cannot request the same driver directly or arrange their trips with a driver of their choice. The right to use a familiar taxi is strictly limited to certain exceptional cases. The right to use a familiar taxi should be granted to seniors, as many of them rely on taxi services regularly every month, sometimes multiple times a week. The access to a familiar taxi would increase seniors' sense of security when traveling, as they could choose a driver they feel comfortable with.
Accessible health care
Everyone should be able to receive the social and healthcare services they need easily, quickly, and in both national languages. Access to services and information in English should also be improved. There must continue to be a health center and local services in every municipality in the future. Fast access to care also requires sufficient healthcare personnel, including staff for telephone services and care assessments. We increase the use of artificial intelligence and digital solutions to make services more efficient. At the same time, we ensure that traditional local services remain available for those who cannot use digital options.
Our healthcare system is suffering from a staff shortage, and we need doctors and healthcare professionals from abroad. For individuals with foreign healthcare qualifications, there must be more opportunities for short, job-oriented study and training programs that can be completed alongside work. Those transitioning to a new career within the healthcare sector should also have access to smooth and flexible study and training opportunities.
The wellbeing of healthcare and social workers is essential for a functioning healthcare system. We invest more than before in staff wellbeing and good leadership.

A new central hospital should be built in Porvoo to consolidate the services at Kungsporten.
Porvoo’s current hospital is in need of extensive renovations, which would come at a high cost. Building a new hospital is also expensive. A thorough comparison and needs assessment must be conducted. A new hospital would benefit from having the emergency services and the HUS assistive device center nearby at Kungsporten.

All young people under the age of 29 should be guaranteed free contraceptives.
Currently, free contraception is offered to individuals under 25 years old. I believe this is sufficient.

The health stations in Lappträsk, Askola, and Mörskom should be preserved.

There should be more mobile services, such as health buses and remote consultations.
Mobile services are certainly important in rural areas with long distances. However, if the network of health centers remains comprehensive in Eastern Uusimaa, I do not believe it is necessary to invest as much in mobile services at the same time.

Wellbeing services counties must increase investments in preventive healthcare, even if it means that other types of care receive fewer resources.
We must ensure that primary healthcare has sufficient resources —when a person seeks care at a health center or hospital, they should receive the treatment needed. Preventive healthcare should be prioritised, but not at the expense of primary healthcare.

A personal doctor system should be introduced to improve continuity of care, even if it requires extra resources for a while.
I support the personal doctor system. However, it should not result in significant additional costs.

Wellbeing services counties should prohibit the use of temporary agency doctors.
The use of temporary hire doctors should be reduced to cut costs. At the same time, we must ensure that the county has a sufficient number of permanently employed doctors. Additionally, we need to invest in their wellbeing and work satisfaction so that they remain in their jobs for as long as possible.

More shelter spaces should be established to help individuals subjected to violence.

To shorten waiting times, wellbeing services counties should increase the use of service vouchers.

Healthcare should be centralized if it saves money or improves quality.
Primary healthcare and local services should be available in every municipality. Certain particularly expensive or rare forms of specialised care and surgeries can be centralised. At the same time we must ensure that the Porvoo Hospital remains as comprehensive a unit as possible in the region.

Funding and resources for rescue services should be prioritized higher, even if it means cuts in other sectors.
Investments in emergency stations in Sipoo, Porvoo, and Loviisa have been necessary.

Undocumented migrants should have the right to non-urgent healthcare.

More emphasis should be placed on training healthcare staff in gender diversity and sexual diversity.
Topics related to gender and sexual diversity should be included in basic education.

If you could give a superpower to your future political leader, what would it be?
I approach the issue from the perspective of the county and would, for example, make changes to the social and healthcare reform.
