Lieto
Lieto is a municipality with a steadily growing population. The percentage of inhabitants with Swedish as their mother tongue is growing faster and faster.
In the progressive municipality Lieto is today, there is room for increased understanding for residents with a mother tongue other than Finnish.
A responsible and fair distribution of the scarce tax and other funds that Lieto will be able to invest, to maintain services and invest for the future, requires both financial know-how and the ability to co-operate across party lines in the new council.
