Helsinki
"Helsinki: sustainable, inclusive, and safe for everyone"
As an ordinary Helsinki resident just like you, I strongly believe that we need more inclusivity in the city's decision-making process. Helsinki is a wonderful city, and we can make it even better by harnessing the potential and talents of every individual.
I have lived almost half of my life in Finland and witnessed the country's development and challenges over many years, particularly from economic and environmental perspectives. With my experience in these fields, I would like to contribute to the sustainable development of Helsinki and Finland.
Environment and immigration are among key political issues at the moment. Many see them as threats to the Finnish society. However, we cannot ignore them; instead, we must transform these threats into opportunities.
We are all just ordinary "helsinkiläinen", yet together, we can build our town into a world-class community. A sustainable, inclusive, and safe Helsinki, for everyone.

Important political topics
Forerunners in climate and the environment
I am committed to introducing, promoting and supporting environmental-friendly options in every decision-making process.
We live in a time where environmental initiatives define civilisation. Caring for nature is no longer a choice, but a necessity – a duty to our children, to future generations, to all.
"If not now, when? If not us, who?" Helsinki must take bold steps towards sustainability. From accelerating renewable energy adoption to driving a robust circular economy and safeguarding our vital ecosystems, swift and determined actions are non-negotiable.
Helsinki must be the benchmark for Finland, if not Europe, in environmental and sustainable practices.
We cannot afford indifference and inaction. We must lead!
Sustainable and attractive planning
I am committed to prioritising reliable infrastructure and quality facilities that enhance everyday life in Helsinki, while fostering a respectful and harmonious relationship between our community and the natural environment.
Helsinki's excellent quality of life can be enhanced through strategic, sustainable urban development. By focusing on improved housing, seamless public transportation, and reliable services, we can create a better living environment for our citizens.
Simultaneously, we must ensure a balanced coexistence between urban development and the preservation of natural spaces
Thriving citizens
I am committed to ensuring that everyone in Helsinki has equal opportunities to thrive and prosper, with a particular focus on those from foreign backgrounds and minority groups.
It is fundamental that Helsinki must provide every citizen with equitable treatment across all aspects of life, from recruitment to education and healthcare, regardless of origin, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and religion... Only then can everyone build a better life here. Moreover, successful citizens contribute to a successful society – a true win-win situation.
Helsinki must empower immigrants to integrate fully by offering both Swedish and Finnish language tools. This strategic approach will leverage Finland's bilingual foundation to unlock newcomers' potential, strengthen society cohesion, and fuel economic growth
