"For a secure and prosperous life throughout Raseborg – with education, collaboration, and development in focus!"
I hold a Master's degree in Political Science from Åbo Akademi, where I specialized in sociology and international law. Since 2000, I have worked in vocational education—initially as a teacher in social and healthcare at Yrkesinstitutet Sydväst and later as an expert in international cooperation and collaboration with the labor market at Axxell.
For me, inclusion and participation are fundamental values. It is crucial that every voice is heard so that we can create solutions that truly add value for everyone. I look forward to being a voice for Raseborg and its residents, and I believe in the importance of listening to people and their needs in order to make well-informed decisions.
Even though I am new to politics, I am not afraid to express my own opinions or those that the residents of Raseborg want me to convey. I am committed, curious, and eager to contribute my experience to develop our municipality in the best possible way.

Thriving citizens
I want us to never forget the value of our small schools. For many children, a small school where they are seen and feel secure is a crucial factor for their well-being and development. The early years in school lay the foundation for the future, and if children feel secure and included, they have a better foundation than if they are placed in schools with large groups where they risk feeling insecure and unseen. It is important that we provide all children with the best conditions to flourish, regardless of the type of school they attend.
We must also ensure that our elderly population receives the care and support they need to thrive. It is not enough to focus only on those living in central areas—we must also protect and support those who live in our beautiful countryside. All residents, regardless of where they live, deserve a safe and dignified life.
The best schools
A high-quality education is a valuable resource that we should invest in to provide our residents with the best possible opportunities to succeed in life. With nearly 25 years of experience in vocational education, I believe that we need to strengthen collaboration between vocational education, the municipality, and the third sector.
To meet future needs, we must ensure that the municipality has the necessary workforce, which makes it essential to invest in lifelong learning. By offering people opportunities to continuously upskill and develop their competences and skills, we can strengthen both the individual’s position and the municipality’s future growth.

Early childhood education should be free for everyone.
Early childhood education should be free for those who really need it. Making it free for everyone would impose such a great financial burden that I fear it would negatively impact the quality of early childhood education in the long term.

Schools should prioritize traditional textbooks over digital learning materials.
In today\'s digitalized world, it is important that children develop their digital skills. At the same time, we cannot rely solely on digital tools; we must also use traditional teaching methods and tools to ensure that essential key skills are developed in a balanced way.

One of the municipality’s most important tasks is to invest in sports facilities and opportunities for exercise and recreation.
Physical activity, recreation, and sports are important, but in my opinion, they should not be prioritized over educational matters. It is crucial that all municipal residents have access to services that promote well-being, and education is an essential part of this.

It is important to provide all residents with equal opportunities for cultural activities.
I believe that all residents of Raasepori should have equal opportunities to engage in cultural activities, regardless of age or where in Raasepori they live.

The municipality should introduce or improve opportunities for residents to influence how municipal funds are used through participatory budgeting.
I am not sufficiently familiar with this matter, but I believe that the residents of Raasepori should have the right to express their opinions on issues and that their voices should be heard. That being said, I am not knowledgeable enough to assess whether participatory budgeting is the right method for this.

The municipality should invest in public transportation.
There are those who live outside our urban areas and who become increasingly isolated and dependent on their loved ones if we do not invest in public transportation.
7 / 11
It should be possible to be a resident in more than one municipality, for example, through digital municipal citizenship.

The municipality should better facilitate the expansion of renewable energy, such as solar and wind power.

The municipality should mix more housing types in planning than is currently the case.
