"More efficient governance"
An Espoo-based expert in administration with a heart that beats for efficient governance.
I believe in a small and agile public sector, safety, and broad individual freedoms.
I am Certified Board Member (HHJ) and have also studied international business. I work as a sales project manager in a limited company based in Espoo.
I have extensive experience in administration at the organizational level, in public administrative organizations, limited companies, and foundations. Previously, in Central Finland, I have served on the board of JAMK Oy, the board of KOAS Sr, and as chair of JAMKO's representative council. Now, I am offering my expertise in streamlining administration to serve the residents of Espoo and the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county.
When administration is streamlined correctly, it results in improved services and, in the best case, even a reduction in taxes.
In addition to efficient governance, my key focus areas are safety, child protection, and securing statutory services in both official languages.
Important political topics
Economy & Business
In a poor economic situation, we cannot afford large administrative systems or unnecessary waste.
At the municipal level, decision-making must be prepared clearly and carefully. In city-owned companies, operations must follow the logic of free markets, not slack "there’s always money" practices.
Equality and Equity
We must guarantee equal opportunities in Espoo for everyone in both official languages. Additionally, we need to enable integration into Finnish society in both official languages. Even if a resident lacks proficiency in either of the official languages, learning the language is a critical step toward integration.
Furthermore, Espoo must ensure gender equality. The city must have zero tolerance for sexism and gender-based harassment.
Espoo must also promote the participation of people with disabilities in public life.
Thriving citizens
The sense of insecurity has also increased in Espoo. We must ensure that every Espoo resident feels safe in shared spaces. The city should collaborate with all necessary stakeholders to ensure the safety of public spaces.
Every resident of Espoo must be able to trust that a police officer or security guard is a source of help, not a threat.
