"Deliberation, sense and heart"
My work experience in Finland and at EU level with technological development and issues of innovation, industry and regional policy have guided me to seek future-oriented solutions by trying to grasp complexities, and to realise that often the devil is in the details. As one of Finland's most competitive cities, Espoo should act as a trendsetter in many respects. In what conditions can you live a predictable and safe everyday life? In what kind of environment is it good to raise children and live busy peak years? In what kind of environment can we spend a dignified old age? I want to participate at the municipality level in order to promote the conditions for a good everyday life for all, within the framework that world politics and national politics - and above all our own attitudes - allow.
I have lived a good life in Espoo. My husband and I have raised and educated three children here and now the next generation of locals is growing up in our family. For more than 40 years, our family has lived in the same neighborhood. I'm proud that we have Sinfonietta and Tapiola Cultural Centre and I'm happy that Espoo is financially supporting versatile hobby activities. At family meetings, we speak a mixture of Finnish, Swedish and English. I hope that multiculturalism and internationality would be seen as an asset.
SFP-RKP has a good attitude and an election program that I can truly identify with.
Deliberation, sense and heart are needed in Espoo’s decision-making! Let's keep our city prosperous and the basics in order!
