"If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well."
I am a 47-year-old entrepreneur and father of two from Kirkkonummi. I have a degree in economics and have also pursued extensive further studies.
My political career began in mid-2019, and since then, I have been actively involved in various matters. Currently, I serve as a member of the municipal council, chair of SFP’s municipal council group, member of the technical committee, deputy member of the municipal board, and a member of the MAL2023 planning group. Additionally, I am the vice chair of SFP’s municipal organization in Kirkkonummi. Previously, I was a member of the Swedish preschool and education committee, which oversees Swedish-language education and preschool matters in Kirkkonummi.
I am running in the election because I want to work for a better future—a thriving, attractive, and safe Kirkkonummi, where both residents and businesses flourish.

Important political topics
Thriving citizens
Kirkkonummi is the jewel of Uusimaa. It is important that we actively work towards a better future for Kirkkonummi - one where children, young people, adults, and seniors all thrive and feel safe. Kirkkonummi should be a place where people want to live their entire lives.
Sustainable and attractive planning
We need nature-friendly and safe residential areas for people at different stages of life—everything from rental housing to homes for single-person households, families, and seniors. When planning, it is essential to consider nature and implement climate-smart solutions.
Municipal and urban vitality
Kirkkonummi is, and should continue to be, one of the most dynamic municipalities in Uusimaa and Finland, attracting both businesses and residents. There should be job opportunities close to home.
Candidate's answers in election machine
1 / 14
In Kirkkonummi, it is important to promote the attractiveness of new residential areas or business establishments, even if it comes at the expense of nature.
Kirkkonummi must be both attractive and inviting, ensuring that residents feel at home and want to settle here. At the same time, we must take care of nature and its well-being. It is essential to make climate-friendly and well-considered decisions for a sustainable future.
2 / 14
The West Rail between Espoo and Salo should be implemented, even if it means that Kirkkonummi must finance part of it.
Kirkkonummi needs rail connections to Veikkola, but not with the current financing model, which has led to unsustainable economic consequences for the municipalities required to fund the West Rail Line.
3 / 14
In Kirkkonummi, it is better to save money by cutting down on the service network for residents rather than reducing municipal staff.
It is normal for an organization to occasionally optimize operations, which may lead to staff changes. However, the primary focus should not be on excessively cutting services for municipal residents
4 / 14
Early childhood education should be free for everyone.
If there are extra funds available, this is worth considering more carefully. However, it becomes challenging if the municipality is facing financial constraints.
5 / 14
Schools should prioritize traditional textbooks over digital learning materials.
I believe one learns better by physically holding what they are reading.
6 / 14
One of the municipality’s most important tasks is to invest in sports facilities and opportunities for exercise and recreation.
Well-being among residents is a great advantage and a strong attraction factor for the municipality.
7 / 14
It is important to provide all residents with equal opportunities for cultural activities.
8 / 14
The municipality should introduce or improve opportunities for residents to influence how municipal funds are used through participatory budgeting.
Participatory budgeting is a good idea in theory, but in practice, it is challenging to implement fairly, ensuring that funds are equitably distributed both geographically and across different age groups
9 / 14
The municipality should invest in public transportation.
There should be good connections both to and from Kirkkonummi, as well as between the different municipal centers.
10 / 14
It should be possible to be a resident in more than one municipality, for example, through digital municipal citizenship.
Interesting thought.
11 / 14
The municipality should better facilitate the expansion of renewable energy, such as solar and wind power.
I support renewable energy, as it is highly climate-smart and beneficial for nature.
12 / 14
The municipality should mix more housing types in planning than is currently the case.
It\'s pretty okay as it is right now.
13 / 14
The municipality should introduce anonymous recruitment.

If you could give a superpower to your future political leader, what would it be?
A healthy environment is the future for all of us—both humans and animals on Earth.
