My name is Kamal Bounajd and I am running for the Swedish People's Party (SFP) in Southwest Finland.
I moved to Finland from Morocco at the age of 22 and chose to work in healthcare because I love helping people. During my time in home care, I saw shortcomings that made me sad – elderly people suffering at home while waiting for a place in a nursing home, staff shortages and financial difficulties.
Now I am studying to become a nurse and working in Varha. My goal is to improve healthcare, strengthen working conditions and increase respect for healthcare professionals.

Children, Youth, and Families
Children, young people and families are the cornerstones of society. We must ensure that every child has a safe upbringing, a quality education and access to healthcare. Families need support in everyday life through flexible family leave, good childcare and financial security. We must also strengthen the opportunities of young people through better education, employment and mental health. A society that invests in children and young people invests in a better future for everyone.
Sustainable and attractive planning
Sustainable planning is about creating environments where people can live, work and thrive in the long term. We must build sustainably with a focus on green spaces, accessible public transport and energy-efficient solutions. Planning should support both community and individual well-being through safe residential areas, good services and sustainable infrastructure. Through smart urban development, we create a vibrant and future-proof society for all.
Economy & Business
A strong economy and a thriving business community are the foundation for welfare and security. We must create good conditions for companies to grow, innovation to flourish and the labor market to be dynamic. Small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of our economy and need support through less bureaucracy and better financing opportunities. At the same time, we must ensure a fair tax policy and investments in education and research to strengthen competitiveness. A stable and sustainable economy benefits the whole of society.
