I am the Chair of the Environmental Health committee, a member of the Licensing and Supervision Committee, and the Chair of the Board for Rosk’n Roll, with a strong interest in sustainable development, circular economy, urban planning, and construction. I am committed to developing long-term and effective solutions that are both practical and closely aligned with the daily lives of our residents.
With a background in administration, law, and international affairs, I have worked in several advocacy organizations, where I have addressed issues related to the environment, social sustainability, and equality. Currently, I work as a specialist in international affairs at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, focusing on cross-border cooperation and development projects.
I believe that decision-making should be grounded in both research and the realities of the residents' lives. Therefore, I value open dialogue and collaboration across various sectors to create sustainable and realistic solutions.
As a resident of Soturinkylä in Porvoo and a parent of a toddler, I also recognize the importance of planning and developing society in a way that considers both current and future generations. My commitment thus extends to issues related to family life, social and healthcare services, and well-functioning local services.

I want Porvoo to grow in a sustainable and thoughtful manner, investing in both new housing and the preservation of our unique urban environment. We need more affordable housing for young people and families, while ensuring that construction is energy-efficient and climate-smart.
I also aim to simplify building permit processes and reduce unnecessary bureaucracy so that more people can renovate and build sustainably. Additionally, the municipal building office should offer better advisory services, enabling residents to easily receive guidance in their construction projects. We must ensure that this service is easily accessible and functions smoothly.

Porvoo's strategic location in Eastern Uusimaa provides us with a unique opportunity to become a central player in the circular economy. By promoting collaboration among local businesses and supporting innovations, we can create sustainable solutions that reduce waste and optimize resource use. Initiatives like the WeCircle project, which brings together small and medium-sized enterprises in the region to develop circular business models, are excellent examples of this.
To further strengthen our environmental profile, it is crucial that we protect and improve the quality of our water bodies. Through preventive measures, we can ensure that our lakes, rivers, and coasts remain clean and healthy for both people and wildlife.

I want Porvoo to have a strong and sustainable economy that benefits both residents and businesses. By supporting local companies and attracting new investments, we can create more jobs and strengthen our economic foundation. It is important that we offer business advisory and development services to help both new and established companies grow.
I also advocate for the city's procurements to be open and fair, allowing local businesses the opportunity to participate and contribute to the municipality's development.
