"For a sustainable and strong municipality "
In terms of education, I have a Master's degree in Economics from the Swedish School of Economics Hanken. I have lived in Jungsund for 26 years together with my farming husband Folke. We have two adult daughters, both of whom have good educations to build their future on.
Running for the municipal election has not been a given for me, on the contrary. My societal engagement and concern for the common good made me finally decide to stand for the municipal election.
I hope that my many years of experience in leading large organizations, networking, education, real estate and construction, and not least economic management of tax funds, will be useful in the development of the home municipality.
Part of my free time is spent on the assignment as chairman of the board for Högskolestiftelsen i Österbotten foundation. This is an extremely important task where we support, monitor, and participate in the development of higher education in the region.
Dogs are an important part of our family. We now have two dogs, an almost 13-year-old golden retriever and a three-year-old labrador. I move a lot in nature with the labrador, the 13-year-old takes it easy with exercise due to age.
Someone has probably seen me driving some tractor equipment along the country roads when I help my husband with spring work and harvest time. I am definitely not an expert in tractor driving, but I do my best. Being in the fields is a good change from my workday, and it is also fun to work together with my husband sometimes.
As a person, I am fearless and honest, and my feet are firmly planted on the ground.
