"Together, we build a better everyday life – through collaboration! "
I am a Swedish-speaking Finn living in Rekola, Vantaa, and a mother of two, which gives me a practical understanding of issues related to children, youth, and education. In my professional life, I work as a consultant, helping companies expand internationally. This has given me valuable insights into the needs of businesses and how we can make Vantaa more attractive for companies and investments.
I have been active in politics since 2017 and am passionate about encouraging more people to get involved – we all have experiences that can make a difference! Through collaboration, we can build a better everyday life for all residents of Vantaa.
During the last council term, I served as a member of the Swedish speaking section, acting under the Education Committee in the City of Vantaa. Currently I act as a deputy member.
Important political topics
The best schools
All children and young people should have access to a high-quality and equal school. Student welfare must be strengthened, and schools should have sufficient resources to support each student's development. Schools should also collaborate with businesses and the labor market to provide young people with a clear path to future careers and entrepreneurship. Education should reflect future needs by introducing new subjects, such as AI.
Children, Youth, and Families
The well-being of children and families are the foundation of a strong society. The municipality should offer more recreational activities and a healthy environment that promotes both physical and mental health. Preventive work in mental health should be prioritized.
Economy & Business
A strong and sustainable municipal economy is crucial for providing good services. The municipality should facilitate business operations by reducing bureaucracy and improving the business climate. Vantaa should become a leading municipality that attracts companies, startups, and investors. Export and international collaborations should be promoted to strengthen local businesses and create jobs.
