Larsmo
"Larsmo is a place where we thrive. And together we can make it even better."
I am a journalist, currently working as a writer and content producer in my own company Alfred Media. My interest in the society has always been strong, and now I'm ready to take responsibility for continuing to develop our great municipality.
I have long been active in Larsmo IF, have led Bosund Byalag, am a board member of both Larsmo Local History Archive and Larsmo Entrepreneurs – and running in the municipal elections feels like a natural next step. I was born and raised in Larsmo, and am a proud resident. After a few years out in the world, we chose to settle in Bosund, our two children have gone to school here and I have now established a company in my home municipality.
One of the best things about Larsmo is the nature. I'm often seen on one of our beautiful hiking trails, on the ski tracks or out at sea.
Important political topics
Thriving citizens
The municipality exists for its residents. This is one important thing that we need to keep in mind in all decision-making – what we do and the decisions we make should always benefit those who live and work in Larsmo. This is one of the most important things I want to bring along if I am elected.
As an elected representative, you also have a responsibility to think sustainably, long-term and strategically and to base decisions on well-founded facts. We need to take into account the different ages and life situations of our citizens – everyone should feel that they are getting the service they need at the time.
Municipal and urban vitality
The vitality of Larsmo is impressive. We have record-low unemployment, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a well-developed network of schools and nurseries, and a well-developed municipal centre, which together with vibrant villages and the closeness to the cities makes Larsmo an attractive place to live.
To continue developing the municipality, smart planning and strategic sustainable decisions are needed. The decisions we make now will also affect future generations.
Culture and Leisure
A lap around the nearest hiking trail solves most problems! Of course nothing is that simple, but I'm convinced that exercise, sport and the joy of movement have a major impact on how we feel.
As a junior coach at Larsmo IF for many years, I have seen how good the association's activities are for our children and young people. And when people from outside praise the nice facilities in Idrottsparken, it's great to be a citizen of Larsmo. I want to continue to invest in culture and leisure, so that our children and young people, but also we adults, are offered varied leisure activities. That, if anything, is quality of life.
