"By prioritizing people's health and mental well-being, we build a stronger society. Politicians should work for the people, not for themselves. I want to listen to you and make your voice heard. Together, we can build a society where we support well-being, build resilience, and ensure a stronger future. More empathy and love <3"

I am a trained healthcare nurse and am currently studying a Master's program in healthcare leadership. Right now, I work as a healthcare nurse in student health services (FSHS). Previously, I have worked in palliative and cancer care, addiction treatment, and occupational health. I have lived in Australia and London, where I worked as a nanny for children. I have also been a board member of the Swedish Women's Association in Helsinki for two years.

I take care of my physical and mental health by doing meditation, gym, walks in nature and sauna therapy. Family and friends are important to me.

As a healthcare professional, it is important to me to see the person as a whole, not just a problem to be solved. Through my work in healthcare, I have learned a lot and feel ready to face new challenges. Living abroad has also helped me grow as a person and broaden my perspectives. I want to work for the people and invest in health.

Areas I want to focus on:
- Work with healthcare issues
- Human rights
- Promote mental health
- Equality and justice
- Better care for eating disorders
- Reduce addiction problems
- Better treatment of crime victims
- Reduce sexual violence
- Reduce psychological violence and all forms of violence

The reason I am running in the municipal election is because I want to be part of improving our society for future generations.

Important political topics

Thriving citizens

I think it is important that we invest in the health of the residents. As a healthcare professional, I work with adult students, and for me, it is important to help others. I see how cuts in healthcare negatively affect people's health. When residents are healthy, then for example, sickness absences decrease, which in turn benefits the economy. Preventive work saves in the long term.

Children, Youth, and Families

It is important that we think about children and young people, as they are our future. A risk factor for mental health issues is if a child has experienced trauma during their upbringing. Mental health problems are also a risk factor for developing issues such as addiction. By taking care of children, young people, and families, we prevent future health problems.

Equality and Equity

For me, equality and equity are important. In our society, we have made progress on these issues, but there is still work to be done. Racism, fascism, homophobia, language and gender discrimination still exist. I want to work for a society where people have the right to be who they want to be, without spreading hate and negativity towards others.
