Espoo
" "Espoo should be the municipality where everyone thrives and feels good! This should be considered in all decisions made. The well-being of children and young people should be prioritized, and we must protect our nature and environment.""
Since the last municipal election, I have been an active politician in Espoo and within my party. I work with education at the Solvalla Sports Institute, located in the scenic Noux, and I also live in the heart of nature in my small house in Oittaa. I have been entrusted with several positions of trust both in Espoo and in the party since I joined active politics. Among other things, I am a member of the Svenska Rum Board in Espoo, a member of the party's parliamentary group, chairman of the SFP in Northern Espoo, a member of the Espoo SFP board, and a member of the Music Institute Kungsvägen's board of trustees. In addition to these roles, I also serve as an alternate on a few other boards. I have developed a great fondness for this active political work in Espoo and within the party, and I feel I have much to contribute going forward for our shared future!
I am also running in the county elections

Children, Youth, and Families
"The well-being of children and young people is the foundation of a healthy society. Today, we must allocate even more resources to ensure that our children and young people are well. Instead of cuts, we should increase funding to secure this goal. This will lead to savings in the future. For several years, statistics and research have shown that we have a growing group of children who are unwell, and we can only address this by further funding all forms of preventive activities across several sectors in our municipality and welfare area."
The best schools
With many years of experience working in schools at all levels, I can easily say that we have high-quality education and good schools in Espoo. However, we must make an effort to maintain this level in the future. We must not increase class/group sizes or close our so-called 'village schools.' In Espoo, we must fight to ensure that our Swedish-speaking school network is preserved.
Culture and Leisure
Our lives do not consist only of work and school. For a good balance of body and mind, we need culture and meaningful leisure activities. Children and young people find social, secure connections through meaningful, guided leisure activities, but even we adults are in great need of stimulation through culture and, among other things, sports activities in our free time. We must ensure that our culture producers and organizers of leisure activities at all levels also have the financial means to continue their operations in the future.

We can \'only\' make the best possible decisions. Unfortunately, there are no magic wands.
