"For a innovative, safe and viable Helsinki "
I was born and raised on the Åland Islands and moved to Helsinki to start my studies at the Swedish School of Economics in Helsinki in 2020. I am now in my fourth year at Hanken and studying finance and investing at master's level. I received a Bachelor's degree in economics in the fall of 2024, and around the same time I started my own company through which I work with business development within IT and system development.
Ever since I moved here, Helsinki as a city has meant a lot to me, and by participating in the municipal elections, I want to continue to fight for Helsinki to be the best city to live and study in.
Through my involvement as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Åland Student Association in Helsinki (ÅSFH), I have already attracted a bunch of young Ålanders to a study life in Helsinki, and I want to continue to fight for this city to retain its charm for us swedish speakers.
In addition to this, Helsinki needs to be an attractive place for companies to establish themselves. We need more investments that boost the local economy and create jobs for those who want to live and work in Helsinki. Without the companies there are no jobs, and without jobs it will not be attractive to further education after basic education. With an attractive company policy, we keep the companies in Helsinki and students will have the opportunity to calmly train for the work they are passionate about without feeling stressed about future job opportunities.
Feel free to contact me on my e-mail if you have any thoughts to share, or if you happen to be interested in a round of golf in the Helsinki region. Always looking for new teammates and friends!
