"For a vibrant Korsholm with prosperous residents "
I am 56 years old and I have lived in Korsholm/Mustasaari since 1992; the first four years in Smedsby/Sepänkylä, since 1996 in Solf/Sulva in Söderfjärden. I grew up in a bilingual farming family in Småbönders. I am married to an entrepreneur in the construction industry. We have four children who have already moved away from home. I like hiking and jogging. Now and then I play the violin, and I also like to go to concerts and other cultural events.
Since 2012, I have been working as a organizing secretary for the Finlands svenska spelmansförbund (Finnish Swedish Fiddlers' Association). The position is half-time, so I work extra at a small travel agency. After the pandemic, when there were fewer trips, I took an extra job as a personal assistant – a very valuable experience. Among other things, I have worked as an assistant at university and in a project at a cosmetics company. My first long-term full-time job with permanent employment was as a waiter.
I have a Master's Degree in education, majoring in general education and minoring in public administration and adult education. I have also a Degree in visual arts and studies in accounting.
A little curiosity: I have worked as a driving school teacher for all my four children.
