"För Vasas bästa - nu och i framtiden"
I am a native of Vaasa who wants to work for a safe, sustainable, and inclusive Vaasa where everyone can live a good life now and in the future.
Important issues for me are the well-being of children and young people. Everyone should have access to a good education, and we need attractive workplaces so that students choose to stay in Vaasa after their studies. There must be alternatives for young people who have not yet found their way forward.
Our region is known for its drive and entrepreneurial spirit, so it is important to have good conditions for both small and large businesses to operate in Vaasa in order to attract skilled labor and pursue economic growth.
Sometimes we face challenges in life, and when that happens, we need to ensure that there are easily accessible and relevant support services. Preventive and health-promoting work supports individual well-being and saves money in the long run.
This is my first election, and I think it would be interesting to gain insight into how public administration works. I have broad work experience and have held many different positions of trust, both professionally and privately, so I believe my experience could be beneficial in local decision-making.

Schools should prioritize traditional textbooks over digital learning materials.
Traditional textbooks have long been a reliable option, helping students focus without distractions from digital devices. Not everyone has the digital skills required to learn through digital means. However, digital textbooks have advantages, such as faster updates and easier submission of assignments for assessment. It\'s important to find a balance.

Investing in public transport is important for reducing emissions and making it easier for residents to get around without relying on their own cars. Vaasa already has a good bus network that we should continue to invest in.

It should be possible to be a resident in more than one municipality, for example, through digital municipal citizenship.
A digital citizenship can make it easier for people living near municipal borders and having close ties to two municipalities, or for those who have moved, to stay in touch with their home municipality.

The municipality should mix more housing types in planning than is currently the case.
It doesn\'t always suit all areas. The planning must be carefully thought out to ensure that all types of housing work together.

The municipality should introduce anonymous recruitment.
Anonymous recruitment can reduce the risk of discrimination, but removing information that provides a complete picture of the candidate may result in important qualities being lost in the recruitment process.
