"Constructive communication in decisionmaking."
I want to participate in the structures of local decisionmaking, because I believe that in this restless and polarised world we can create grass root safety and stability by open communication.
I have a husband and two grown-up sons. My main work is at our farm. We have beef cattle, so we produce ecologically grown beef. On the side I am working with different kinds of cultural engagements, mainly within theatre. I am a member of the board of the swedish speaking farmer's union and the chair of the board of a cultural foundation. By education I am a speech and language pathologist (speech therapist) and I also have an exam in theatre.
Important political topics
Culture and Leisure
Everyone shoud have equal rights to work within arts, culture and sports, and also to enjoy arts, culture and sports as a hobby. Issues of economical programs should not make a threat to this right. Neither should we put sports and culture againts each other in economical discussions.
Forerunners in climate and the environment
I want the discussion on global warming and actions against climate change, both local and global, to be more realistic and based on facts.
Equality and Equity
I believe that equality and equity between different groups is formed through open communication.

The municipality’s current policy on maintaining private roads meets the residents’ needs.

The Swedish language has a natural role and a strong position in the municipality.
You can manage in Swedish in Kokkola, people will try to communicate as good as they possibly can, and I have not felt any aggression towards Swedish in my day-to-day life.

The municipality should continue to actively work to attract new businesses and more workforce.
The city should take better care of local small businesses instead of trying to win over some more big chains of business to our area. If these small och middle sized entrepreneur establishments are doing well, farms and farm-related businesses included, this might create new jobs and even make this area attractive to new workforce.
4 / 14
Early childhood education should be free for everyone.
5 / 14
Schools should prioritize traditional textbooks over digital learning materials.
Hoping to meet half-way saving printed material but taking into consideration all the possibilities that the digital world gives us.
6 / 14
One of the municipality’s most important tasks is to invest in sports facilities and opportunities for exercise and recreation.
Not the most important, but of course it is exptected that there is an equal possibility to sports and recreation.
7 / 14
It is important to provide all residents with equal opportunities for cultural activities.
We need arts and culture, and sports and recreation, or our mental and physical health will deteriorate. It is common sense to appreciate already existing professional institues for arts, and to take the well being of these institutes into consideration. Arts and culture should not be kept alive only through organizations based on spare-time activities.
8 / 14
The municipality should introduce or improve opportunities for residents to influence how municipal funds are used through participatory budgeting.
9 / 14
The municipality should invest in public transportation.
10 / 14
It should be possible to be a resident in more than one municipality, for example, through digital municipal citizenship.
11 / 14
The municipality should better facilitate the expansion of renewable energy, such as solar and wind power.
This in constructive communication with the land owners, so that the land owners are heard, and also compesated for the use of land for wind- och solarparks and gateways.
12 / 14
The municipality should mix more housing types in planning than is currently the case.
13 / 14
The municipality should introduce anonymous recruitment.
I will always speak for open communication.

If you could give a superpower to your future political leader, what would it be?
I don\'t believe in this question. We make our descisions based on intuition often, and if we would stand in the same crossroads as earlier, my bet is we would choose the same all over again, because that would be safe. It may go south, but is it familiar.
