Kronoby
"Security, safety and humor in our daily life. "
My name is Malin Åminne, I am 48 years old. I am married and have an adult daughter. I work as a station officer at the Ostrobothnia Rescue Services Department. My education is in the field of rescue services (I am currently studying to become a executive fire officer). I am also a trained youth worker. I have studied pedagogy, adult education, healthcare, and leadership.
I am running for municipal office for the third time. Over the past four years, I have been a member of the municipal board, the municipal council, the business and risk management section, the technical and environmental committee, and I have also represented the municipality in the police delegation.
I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, working in the forest, boating, cycling, playing disc golf, etc. In the winter, I play padel once a week, and in the summer, I paddle a canoe more often. At home, I like to read or play games with my family. I also enjoy cooking.
It is important to me that all of us in Kronoby Municipality can have the best possible quality of life, with good schools, libraries, opportunities for physical activity, and easy access to the services we need, both in healthcare and other areas.
Although it is often pointed out in various forums that our municipality is not good, that we do not invest in this or that, we actually live in an incredibly beautiful and good municipality. Of course, we can improve in many areas, but if you stop and look around, you will notice that we have a lot of things sorted out. We have good service, and most importantly, we have people here who care about each other! We must cherish this and continue to develop forward. I believe that you are happier and go further if you have a positive attitude.
Important political topics
Municipal and urban vitality
Well-being of residents is something every municipality should strive for. Most people immediately think of healthcare, which of course is part of it, but there is so much more that contributes to well-being that is often forgotten. A sense of community, opportunities for physical activity, recreational activities, a clean environment, and much more.
Equality and Equity
Equality and equity are very important to me. In all areas, at home, at work, in school, in the municipality, in the country. We are all equally valuable, and we are all important. Everyone should have the right to be exactly who they are without having to fight for their rights.
Children, Youth, and Families
Children, young people, and families are important. It is the young people who are our future. As a municipality, we should create the best possible environment for all our residents.
