"Safe, Sustainable and Equally Developing City for Everyone! The Future grows from High Quality Education and the Community of Compassion. Diversity, Trust and Innovative People are our Superpower. "
I am a priest by education, Master of Theology from Helsinki University. Am a mother of four children or a young adults, grandmother of a small grandchild. I am a disability rights activist as the mother of my severely disabled young man needing a wheelchair daily.
I am a lay judge at the Helsinki District Court.
I have many years of experience in positions of trust in two ministries: The National Disability Council of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the International Human Rights Advisory Board of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
In the Church Board, I was the vice-chair of the Disability and Accessibility Advisory Board. I am a member of the Lauttasaari Parish Council, a deputy member of the joint church council.
I am active and productive. I want to promote safety, functional everyday life and entrepreneurship in Helsinki.
An international, developing Helsinki needs a wise look to the future, support for technology, science and art. The sea and local nature, which are dear to Helsinki residents, must be protected. Everyone's contribution to common well-being is needed!
I am also a children's author, worth a charity book.
I want to maintain an uncomplicated and conversational connection to the everyday lives of ordinary people. At my work as a priest I get close to people.
My life experience has opened many windows into the daily life of people in need of help as the mother of a severely disabled autistic young man. I am a board member of the Jaatinen Disability Family Centre and a Social Ethicist - a human rights expert who has studied and also lived through the questions of medical ethics.

The municipality should mix more housing types in planning than is currently the case.
City planning should be done considering all the various possibilities for housing of the Helsinki area residents. The maritime character and nature values must be protected in these solutions. Residents must be taken early enough into this process as mutual dialogue.

If you could give a superpower to your future political leader, what would it be?
Am too much of a realist to choose infinite wisdom in politics. Seen too much lately. But we can build better society and better town for all. Based on mutual trust, learning from our mistakes and mistakes of the mankind. Compassion is the superpower to protect both people, environment and the animal kingdom - as this is our original responsibility.
