"The municipality, together with the third sector and the welfare sector, needs to ensure the well-being of its residents"
After four terms as an elected representative, I feel that I still have something to give and am willing to continue for another term.
I am an association person who has worked with computer systems of various kinds throughout my professional life.
My family includes my wife and two grown-up children and my cats Simba and Nala.
For several periods, I have served as chairman of the Environment and Building Committee, which has provided a good insight into planning and construction.
For four years, in an employment relationship with the welfare area, I have acted as a carer for my ageing father with various ailments.
For a few years now, I have been chairman of Nykarleby Hjärtförening r.f., which is a very good example of how the third sector can also contribute to preventive care.
Important political topics
Thriving citizens
Cooperation between municipalities, the third sector and the welfare sector is extremely important because it is the municipalities and the third sector that are closer to the individuals and are better able to help and support them in their daily lives.
Sustainable and attractive planning
Our villages need to develop hand in hand with the strategic work of planning. Infrastructure is important and the future viability of villages is properly supported by the city. Our villages and our city are together creating a meaningful place to live and work, and this also strengthens the city's family-friendly brand.
