"Well-being, security, and development – for a bright future"
My name is Emma Manns, and I am 21 years young from Jakobstad. I graduated from Jakobstad Gymnasium and am currently studying to become an interior architect. If I were to describe myself in three words, I would say positive, outgoing, and dedicated.
I want Jakobstad to be a city characterized by well-being and hope for the future, a city where there is something for everyone.
Important political topics
Thriving citizens
Well-being of residents is the foundation of a sustainable community. Residents who thrive, feel safe, and have the opportunity to develop benefit the entire municipality. To achieve this, we must invest in accessible recreational activities, social community, and safe environments for all ages. By investing in the well-being and security of residents, we create an attractive municipality where everyone feels included and has the opportunity to live a good life.
Culture and Leisure
Jakobstad is a city where culture thrives – and it should remain that way. Investing in culture and leisure is investing in well-being and quality of life. Culture is not just enjoyable, but an essential part of a vibrant society. By supporting culture and recreational activities, we create meeting places and give people the space to express themselves. Additionally, the city's rich cultural life is an important factor in attracting new residents and visitors, which strengthens both the community and the local economy.
Economy & Business
Work and employment for all are crucial for a strong and sustainable economy. By creating job opportunities, supporting entrepreneurship, and prioritizing education, we can build a sustainable economy where both individuals and society can thrive.
