"Thriving and active residents in our unique villa city! Common sense and long-term perspective in decision-making!"
I want to work for well-being residents in our unique municipality. I want to preserve the natural environment and the villa culture. Kauniainen shall offer a safe and active life for its residents at all stages of life. Common sense and a long-term perspective shall be evident in decision-making.
I am a 40-year-old Master of Economics and a new Grani resident. I was born in Mariehamn and raised in Helsinki. I am married and a father of two wonderful girls. Our family has recently moved to Kauniainen after several years abroad and in the neighboring municipality of Espoo. Running in the Kasavuori forest or skating around Gallträsk with my children is the best I know.
In my professional life as a project manager, I have 15 years of experience delivering strategically important projects and am thus used to financial issues, communication, managing stakeholders, and much more. In my private life, I have been involved in housing association boards, among other things.
A thriving community is built by committed residents who are offered a safe life, various activities, and good bilingual service, in a well-cared-for environment. This is what I will work for!
Important political topics
Thriving citizens
Residents who are offered high-quality meeting places and services, in a close to nature and safe environment, build the foundation for a community spirit, active residents, and thus also well-being.
The best schools
The school is a cornerstone of a society that builds success and well-being. We must ensure that it is a safe place with sufficient resources.
Sustainable and attractive planning
Planning and land use should take into account the local environment and sustainability to the greatest extent possible. More housing is needed, but it should not be at the expense of short-termism, the environment, or quality.
