"Diversity + collaboration create opportunities and development."
In difficult times, it is important to collaborate, share knowledge, and nurture empathetic values. As a Doctor of Arts, I have learned that creativity is optimized through diversity, openness, and synergy. I want to work for humanism and development, focusing on education, culture, innovation, and the development of urban environments, as well as issues related to minorities, elderly care, and LGBTQ matters.
I am an editor with extensive experience in radio and television, and I hold a recent Doctor of Arts degree from Aalto University, where I explored innovation, creativity, and quality.
In my free time, I have been active since 2022 in the Kalyna association, which sends aid to Ukraine and promotes the integration of people from Ukraine who have come to Vaasa. Previously, I worked as a communication officer for the Finlandia Iberoamérica association, which promoted cultural exchange between Finland and Latin American cultures. In the Vaasa region, there are residents with roots from almost all Latin countries. We organized art exhibitions, salsa nights, and excursions.
In my leisure time, I also enjoy going to the theater or concerts, swimming at the pool, or enjoying nature along the walking and biking paths in Vaasa.
Important political topics
The best schools
The best school has the resources to support all children. Everyone who needs support should receive it, and those who need extra stimulation should be offered that as well. Bullying is prevented. Teachers and other staff are also given the opportunity to feel well.
Equality and Equity
I want to uphold the equal value of all people by promoting integration, supporting minorities, and providing resources for special needs.
Culture and Leisure
"Then what are we fighting for?"
This is said to have been Churchill's response when it was suggested to him during World War II that art and culture funding should be cut to support the war effort.
Culture is important from many perspectives. It can both provide well-being and be provocative. Culture promotes creativity, which in turn promotes development. Culture highlights social issues. Culture contributes to the city's economy by creating jobs and attracting visitors and tourism.

One of the municipality’s most important tasks is to invest in sports facilities and opportunities for exercise and recreation.
Exercise is important because it promotes good health. However, today the healthcare system is strained and needs more resources. There are other, more cost-effective ways to promote physical activity and health, such as encouraging cycling, walking, and the use of existing public spaces.

It is important to provide all residents with equal opportunities for cultural activities.
A rich cultural offering that is accessible to everyone promotes understanding and appreciation of different cultures and perspectives, which can reduce prejudices and conflicts. However, not all residents have the same interest in cultural activities. This can lead to resources not being used optimally if they do not match the residents\' demand.
