"Strong Families - stronger Finland"

I am a father, entrepreneur, and problem-solver who wants to make Espoo a city where families, children, and the elderly can thrive. As a business leader with over 20 years of experience, I understand how Finland must adapt to a changing world while holding on to its core values.

I am passionate about improving our education system to better prepare children for the future. I believe that social media and phone use in schools must be controlled, and that we need new learning methods that help children develop focus, resilience, and stronger skills. I also want to ensure that elderly residents are engaged in our communities rather than left behind.

With a Master’s degree from Aalto University and deep international experience, I know how to build strong businesses and communities. I believe that Espoo must embrace innovation, support working families, and welcome immigrants to ensure long-term growth. My goal is simple: a better Espoo for every generation.

Our future is built on the collaboration of generations. Our schools must support children in concentrating and help them learn on their own terms. At the same time, I believe there is strength in families and generations that can, by working together, build stronger children, families, and communities.

Likewise, school buildings should be used more extensively for extracurricular activities after school to provide children with better activities and reduce the amount of driving parents have to do.

This, in turn, is linked to an attractive society that enables growing businesses, new startups, and serves as a foundation to attract both the next generation to stay and immigrants to come
