"I want to see a family-friendly Espoo that offers a meaningful life and environment for children and young people. Espoo should provide a high level of service and a nice living and cultural environment"
I want to contribute to a Espoo that cares for children’s and young people’s well-being. Young people need grown-ups and meaningful activities, both at school and in their leisure time. We need technology, but we cannot let it have negative effects on growing up or on well-being!
The last four years I have participated in the development of our city´s culture as the Swedish People’s party’s member of the Cultural Committee in Espoo. We have many interesting museums in Espoo, popular libraries, a city orchestra and a city theater, witch we can be proud of. Espoo also invests in culture and exercise in education and wants to offer every child and young person at least one hobby. We still need more meeting places with activities for young people in Espoo.
I work as a Specialist in the Government. I have a Masters in Political Science and a broad, solid work experience. I live in Espoo with my family; husband and three bilingual girls. I have always been interested in societal issues. I am deputy chairperson of the local party association and I have earlier been a deputy member and member of the Swedish Education and Cultural Committee in Espoo.
